WE’RE PASSIONATE ABOUT EQUIPPING AND EMPOWERING BIRTHING COUPLES OF CENTRAL OREGON

At Deep Roots Birth Collective, we believe that birth is more than a moment—it is a journey that shapes the core of who we are as individuals and as a family. Our mission is to reclaim the care that birthing couples deserve, creating a movement where respect, education, and empowerment are the cornerstones of every birth experience.

— Courtney + Stacey

MEET COURTNEY

— a former hairstylist turned birth doula, essential oil expert, and mom of six boys (yes, six!). After trading in her scissors for swaddle blankets, Courtney dove headfirst into the world of health and wellness. She discovered her natural talent and passion for teaching all things birth, wellness, and of course, thrifting. When she’s not driving around her lively crew, you’ll find her sipping coffee, empowering others to live their healthiest, most vibrant lives, or squeezing in some writing about the beautiful chaos of her day-to-day adventures. She brings humor, heart, and a whole lot of real-life experience to the table.

MEET STACEY

—a former corporate climber who swapped boardrooms for birth rooms, turning a passion for people into a full-time obsession. A mom of three with a love for all things birth, she’s a doula, trained in massage therapy and foot zoning and brings the aloha spirit of her Hawaiian roots to every family she serves. Trained in Lomilomi massage therapy and foot zoning, she’s here to soothe both body and mind.

When she’s not guiding parents through the ups and downs of pregnancy, you can find her on the pickleball court, or likely on an adventure with her kid crew. With a love for service, a dash of sarcasm, and a knack for keeping it real, Stacey will help you feel empowered, informed, and supported every step of the way.

MEET MELISSA

With a heart wired for service and a deep passion for walking alongside families in their earliest, most tender moments, Melissa brings a grounded, nurturing presence wherever she goes. Melissa graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a degree in Child Development and Psychology and began her doula career in 2019 supporting families with multiples. An Enneagram 6 and ESFJ (yes, she lives for personality tests), Melissa has a unique gift for making people feel truly seen, heard, and cared for—whether she’s supporting new parents or swapping stories over coffee.

When she’s not immersed in the world of doula work, you’ll likely find her in the middle of a kitchen dance party with her two little ones, crushing a sweat session at Burn Bootcamp, or soaking up the beauty of Bend’s wild trails and outdoor magic.

As a postpartum doula, Melissa is on a mission: to make sure no new parent walks the early days alone. Her care blends practical newborn education with soulful, hands-on support for the whole family—creating space for rest, confidence, and connection when it matters most.

MEET BEKAH

Hi, I’m Bekah! A Doula Apprentice with a lifelong passion for supporting families through birth and beyond. My dream of becoming a doula started at 8 years old while watching A Baby Story on TLC, and that early curiosity has grown into a deep commitment to advocating for both parents during labor, delivery, and postpartum.

With over a decade of experience caring for children—from nannying and preschool work to supporting families in both Portland and Bend—I bring a calm, grounded presence and heartfelt dedication to every family I serve. I deeply value the importance of positive, intentional touch and have been weaving that into my current work as an esthetician, creating safe, nurturing spaces for connection and care. Birth is powerful, personal, and deserving of thoughtful support, and I’m honored to walk alongside families through such a sacred time.

MEET MIAH

Hello! I’m Miah — a lifelong lover of humans with a special place in my heart for families and little ones. After many years as a nanny, I’ve witnessed just how essential deeply nurturing postpartum care is, and I’m honored to get to offer that support.

When I’m not tending to families, you’ll find me wandering barefoot in nature, sipping tea in the sunshine, strumming my guitar, or crafting something wholesome in the kitchen. I’m also studying art and massage, weaving together my love for creativity and holistic healing.

My approach is warm and intuitive, rooted in the belief that parents deserve to be held just as lovingly as their babies. My care is rooted in a deep love for people, a trust in the body’s innate wisdom, and the understanding that true healing happens in community.

Whether it’s folding laundry, tidying the kitchen, offering healing touch or herbal support, or cooking up a warm, nourishing meal from the heart — I’m here to support you in this sacred and vulnerable season.

With Deep Roots Birth Collective, care is not a luxury—it is an expectation. We stand by every family we work with, ensuring that they enter their birth journey feeling empowered, informed, and connected every step of the way.

We are not just here to serve; we are here to transform how couples approach childbirth.
